Christopher (Chris) Buford was raised in Pine Hill, Alabama.  At a young age, Chris began singing and realized that God had a special assignment for him.  After faithfully attending, serving at his Father’s church and completing high school, Chris decided to move to Florida and walked in his calling as a Worship Leader.   He has searched, learned, studied, and now understands and embraces music with grace. Chris also has a very supportive and lovely wife named Keyinza, and three beautiful children, Christopher Jr., Kamryn and Ahmad.

 

Chris Buford is a passionate worshiper who serves as the Music Director at Agape Christian Fellowship Church in Ft. Myers, Florida.  With the guidance of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, he has become an outstanding worship leader, song writer, musician and singer.  Chris has taken part of many great opportunities to broaden his knowledge of music and his career.  He has attended and sometimes even took part in some life changing conferences and workshops, such as the Ruben Studdard Music Conference, the Troy University Musical Showcase, and others. Chris has also conducted and led a few successful music ministry workshops himself.  He is the founder and leader of the Heart of Worship School of Music and has steered powerful Worship Circle Conferences, which included great artists such as LaRue Howard, Trinity Anderson and Greg Bronot.

 

Chris has a genuine passion to change lives and to minister to people of all races, ages, and nationalities around the world.   He believes in not waiting for the moments and opportunities, but creating them.  Just to name a few, some of his favorite worship bands-leaders are William McDowell, Bethel, Hillsong, Travis Greene, and Vertical Worship.
